Tammara Coleman is the dedicated Founder of the Doula Experience, leveraging her extensive 19-year career in the funeral industry to bring compassionate support and guidance to individuals and families. Her journey began as a contracted Mortuary Cosmetologist, providing her expertise to multiple funeral homes; a role she continues to fulfill today with unwavering commitment.

Over the years, Tammara's role expanded, and she transitioned into the position of Office Manager at a funeral home, where her responsibilities extended to PreNeed and insurance sales. It was during this time that she developed a deep understanding of the importance of preparing for death, estate planning, and the various insurance options available to families during vulnerable and challenging times.

Currently pursuing her Death Doula Certification, Tammara is passionate about empowering individuals to paint their own narratives of transition from life to death, ensuring their desires are honored and remembered. Through the Doula Experience, she aims to provide holistic support that goes beyond traditional funeral services, guiding families with empathy and expertise.

Prior to her current role, Carolyn served as an Office Coordinator at a prominent hospital, where she oversaw daily operations and facilitated seamless patient care through efficient administrative support. Her tenure in a home care agency further enriched her expertise in hiring, interviewing, benefits administration, and onboarding processes, ensuring that new employees received comprehensive support from day one.
