My works are dedicated to father, Clifford Coleman Jr., who passed away, due to the unforgiving grip of Alzheimer's disease, on August 16, 2023. It was a life defining moment to say the least && also a wakeup call. Not only had my father passed, but I had limited ability to manage his affairs, while he was in my care.
My dad was an excellent father, wonderful family man, a veteran; that became a senior, and he was a gentleman that unfortunately did not have advanced directives in place.
After working in the funeral industry for over 16 years && as an insurance agent for two of those years, I took this as a challenge and an opportunity to make a difference. I do not want others to face the same struggles I did. I made it my mission to help people understand the importance of estate planning; ensuring that their wills, advanced directives, and other necessary documents are in place. I know the pain of losing a loved one, in conjunction with having minimal control over their care; so, I am using that empathy to guide my work, so that other families can avoid the same fate.
The PreNeed Doula, stands as a beacon of hope and guidance for those navigating the complexities of estate planning. I carry the torch of my dad's memory, using it to light the way for others in their darkest hours to come; && in doing so, I keep my father's memory alive, honoring him in the most beautiful way possible - by helping others.
